Well, we are back from a wonderful Thanksgiving vacation to NYC! A great big thanks to my brother, Brad, for hosting us, making restaurant reservations and finding show tickets! (there...I mentioned you in one of my blog posts! Are you happy now?! :-))
We did a lot in 4 days! Had dinner at a few restaurants with great food and FABULOUS decor (which I will share more on later)...
Toured the Guggenheim....
Enjoyed a few beers at McSorley's...New York City's oldest continuously operating saloon...
Went to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade....

And last but not least, shopped 5th Ave, where I got to take in some of the most beautiful holiday windows!
My favorite by far, was once again Bergdorf Goodman! I was lucky enough to observe their holiday windows last year as well, and I was absolutely blown away! This window was my favorite from last year...everything was made from some sort of reflective surface! Glass, mirror, sequence, etc...absolutely stunning!!

This year seemed to have a sort of travel/nautical theme, which I adored as I LOVE to travel....and my favorite vacations are beach vacations, so this theme was right up my alley!
Here are just a few of Bergdorf's 2010 holiday windows...I borrowed a few of my images from HabituallyChic.blogspot.com as I seemed to get quite a bit of glare in my pics.
Ummm, who sets sail in a navy and white full sequence pant suit? This girl does!
Check out those industrial pendants....I'd love to use those over an island!
Forget a coach seat on American Airlines....this girl reaches her vacation destination via a winged horse!
My ABSOLUTE favorite! This window represents such a fantasy land for me! I love the ocean...I love to scuba dive to observe how these fabulous creatures live under the surface...and, need I even mention, I love anything that sparkles! I just wanted to jump inside this fabulous abode and call it my own!
Check out this octopus made of pearls and crystals!
Have you ever seen a tortoise shell covered in beads and pearls?!
Now that is one crocodile I would not mind encountering! Diamonds for eyes and teeth?! Amazing!
Check out that treasure chest!!
Another close up of the octopus. The coral next to him is adorned in diamond and pearl stud earrings!
Ahhh...this mermaid has the life....
