Client Project Reveal: Pearson Living Room

We are so excited to reveal this project to you all today! This 1920's Tudor home is nestled in a quiet little pocket of the ever-popular Lakewood neighborhood in Dallas. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a dining, study and kitchen. It embodies the original hardwoods throughout, as well as original doors and gorgeous stained glass windows. The Pearsons - the most adorable family of 4 - just moved to Dallas from out of state. They were ready for their new house to feel like a home and their first priority was the living room, which is the first room you see when you enter the home. They wanted ample seating, comfort, style and durabililty. It was essential to them for us to incorporate our signature style of light, bright fabrics and to accessorize with pieces that make the space feel sophisticated.

Here is a peek at what the living room looked like when the Pearsons first moved into their new home:

The neutral color palette not only lends a sense of calmness to the room, but it also also allows the enormous, colorful stained glass window to take center stage.

The plaid sofa pillows were the perfect dose of "preppy" and the Mary McDonald geometric print on the ottoman introduces just the right amount of modern.

Did you spy the Jonathan Adler sconces over the fireplace? The pairing of black and brass in this piece is to die for!

And incase you are wondering how in the world they are going to keep all of the furnishings spot free... Alli and I carefully selected fabrics that will stand up to absolutely any inevitable mess for the sofa, chair and bergere seat cushions. And the other fabrics, you ask? We had those treated by one of our fave companies here in Dallas.

We can't wait until next week when we get to reveal another design project we completed for the Pearsons!
