Last year I posted these inspiration pics for a project I've been working on for a client's "forever home." The inspiration in these pics came from certain tidbits of finishes such as the floors, wall color, door color, etc as well as the grey painted kitchen cabinets with gold hardware/pendants. (oh yes, we opted for grey cabinets and gold hardware... in. love.) I must say, my client has great taste and truly knows what she wants, so when it came to making decisions on these types of finishes (flooring, countertops, etc), I was more of a hand holder/sounding board to help steer her in the right direction. We both knew what she wanted and that was a sophisticated, glamorous home that was also livable.
Well, I'm excited to say that the home is complete and it is TO-DIE-FOR, and I'm suuuuuper jealous that it's my client moving in and not me!
Nothing has been photographed just yet, but I couldn't hold back from showing you this iPhone pic I snapped of her powder bath.
Recognize the mirror? If you're a regular Horchow shopper, the answer is yes. BUT this is actually the frugal find that I posted about over a year ago! If you were to order this mirror from Horchow, it would cost you a cool $650 with shipping, but this beauty was purchased at SteinMart for less than $200 (after coupon)!!
Oh, and did I mention that I had the honor of designing her master bedroom and living room?! Last Thursday was actually install day for their Living Room (Happy Valentine's Day to me!!!). I was so excited, I couldn't wait to get everything in and accessorized so that I could do a big reveal for her and her husband... I'm hoping to have photographs posted in the next couple of weeks, but until then, this tiny nothing of an iPhone pic will have to do.
I'm anxious to get her master bedroom installed...unfortunately,we're waiting on a few more pieces before we can do so, but I know the wait will be worth it!
On another note, the nursery that I mentioned in my last post is being photographed this week, so stay tuned for pics!
